Xbox is known showing fun times and amusement for the user . I have reasons to believe that Xbox One is way better than its competitor PlayStation 4. For one one main reason why Xbox is better is the software updates. Microsoft decided with the design of the Xbox
One that it would have monthly system updates, new features. Sony has had long gaps when it comes to major updates for the PS4. If a requested feature doesn't make it into one
firmware patch, owners have to wait many months before another to find
out if it's been implemented that time around. Nobody in their right mind would want to wait that long for an update.
Another reason why I believe that the Xbox is better is that it's more variety with its apps then the PS4. Xbox One has its very own hub for allowing users to view television. With the help of Virgin Media, and TiVo box lets users explore watching countless hours or TV that you and your friends or family can watch. It is just as capable to be used with a Sky box or a Xbox One Digital TV Tuner. With the tuner, it change channels, snap Xbox One content to the side of television broadcasting, and the list goes on. If you are lucky enough to have a Kinect sensor, you can add voice control for TV. all you have to say is "Xbox on" and "Xbox watch" and tell it whatever you would like to watch and it will take you right so it. It's that simple!
In conclusion, the Xbox One is by far the best console in our generation and will continue to beat PlayStation due to its many different features.
Which one do you all think is better?

A Different World
Everyone has seen or at least heard of people coming to college and somehow finding their husband/wife? It's magical in a sense that two people with different stories can collaborate and make a beautiful unforeseen union. Growing up one of my favorite shows I watched was A Different World. One of the prominent relationships in this show were the characters Whitley Hillman and Dwayne Wayne. As the series began you can clearly see that the two were completely different opposites but throughout the series they slowly fall inlove and became inseperable. Now I could be the only one who thinks this but...

Bring Back The Comedy Shows (Why So Serious?)
I know some of you all remember plopping down on your couch at night with your remote in your hand prepared and ready to laugh until your guts fell out. TV shows used to be authentic and fun to tune into. These were the 1990s-2000s, the best generations if I do say so myself! We were just kids watching re runs of shows like Martin, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, The Jamie Fox Show, etc.. What happened to those comedies and can we bring them back please?

Rollercoaster Rides: Safe or Unsafe?
While trying to look up topics that
interested me for my blog post, I decided to think about something most people
love and I ended up at the topic: rollercoasters. I was shocked to see that
there was so much conspiracy surrounding the rides, especially in recent times
with all the advances in technology that are being made every day.
When I was younger, no one could
get me to go on a rollercoaster at all. I would be called a “scared-y cat” or a
“baby” but I didn’t care because in my mind I just knew I out of all people
would plummet to my death if I got on one. This lasted for so many years. I
even got tired of being called names and tried to go on one with my cousins,
then after being strapped in and ready for take off, quickly notified the ride attendant
to take me off. (That definitely didn’t help with the name calling.) I
eventually got over my fears as I got older and figured, “Hey, I can die just
walking across the street so why not enjoy a ride on a rollercoaster?” But are
my thoughts warranted? After researching I am unsure if I made the right
decision to ride these rides.
“A
tragic accident at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, Texas left one woman
dead, after she fell from the Texas Giant, billed as the tallest steel hybrid
roller coaster in the world. Rosy Esparza, 61 who fell from the ride shortly
after it started, reportedly had complained to the attendant that she did not
believe her safety restraint was locked properly in place.” –news.discovery.com.
This just happened in 2013, which was only 3 years ago… so what if what
happened to her can happen to me? Ok, I may be a little dramatic but just the possibility
of it happening slightly makes me scared, but then I think of all the
possibilities of injury I encounter everyday.
“A recent study by the
Center for Injury Research and Policy of the Research Institute at Nationwide
Children's Hospital found from 1990 to 2010, 92,885 children under the age of
18 were treated in U.S. emergency rooms for amusement ride-related injuries.
Most of those injuries happened in the summer months, said Tracy Mehan, manager
for translational research for the Center.” This got me thinking that if children’s rides,
that don’t contain nearly as much height and movement, cause so much injury,
how can adult rides not be dangerous as well. While searching for the answer, I
found that there is no definite one. According to most sources, most accidents
are not mechanical and are very rare. Additionally, it is said to ride with
caution when attempting to ride any rollercoaster and If you aren’t comfortable
or don’t feel secure to get off. I still will most likely ride rollercoasters
but was still interested in the information I found regarding them.
Do you think it is safe to ride rollercoaster?
Do you know someone who is afraid to ride rollercoasters? What
is their reasoning?

Child Neglect
Children whose parents have issues are sometimes the recipients of the negative results, one result is neglect. Child neglect is defined as being an ongoing pattern of inadequate care for the child and can be noticed by any individual that comes in contact with the child. Some parents do not intentionally neglect their children, rather they do not know how to raise their child and they expect a lot from their child. The four types of child neglect are physical, emotional, educational, and medical. Maltreatment of children, whether abuse or neglect has an impact on the development of a child. There are needs of children that have to be met and sustained in order for there to be proper cognitive and physical development. Unlike physical or sexual abuse, child neglect is often more chronic and difficult to differentiate from poverty. Physical neglect is one of the most widely recognizable forms of neglect. Physical neglect generally involves the parent or caregiver not providing the child basic necessities and failure in well-being, psychological growth and development. The child would go through abandonment, when the parent or caregiver abandons the child for more than two days. Educational neglect can lead to a child failing to acquire basic life skills having good grades or a positive attitude, out of school or continually displaying disruptive behavior. This can pose a serious threat to the child’s emotional well-being, physical health or normal psychological growth and development. Emotional neglect includes actions such as engaging in chronic or extreme spousal abuse in the child’s presence. Emotional neglect also includes allowing the child to use drugs or alcohol, refusing or failing to provide needed psychological care, constantly belittling the child and withholding affection. Medical neglect is the failure to provide appropriate health care for a child. Thus placing the child at risk of being seriously disabled or disfigured or dying. The parent or caregiver is delayed on giving the child their medical needs, making the child sicker or can cause the child to have life-threatening illness. Research on child neglect has found that neglected children are more likely to experience worse developmental outcomes that non-neglected children. Not only are the children that are neglected affected in the home, but they also often tend to struggle in school and with education.

Why Hate On The King?
There isn't one basketball fan that hasn't heard of the name LeBron James. Since 2003 LeBron has accomplished so many things winning multiple MVP awards and being a 2-Time NBA Champion. Personally I respect LeBron James as a player and as a person. What I don't understand is why he so hated by people around the world. According to Ranker.com he is the number 1 most hated player in the NBA. Why do most people hate LeBron? It's obvious, many people didn't really appreciate him making his decision to leave Cleveland to take his talents to south beach back in 2010. Many people also believe he is the biggest cry baby and dislike him heavily for the calls he gets from refs because of how many fouls he draws. The hate for him is so strong fans even burn his jerseys. It seems as though the more he accomplishes the more the people hate him.
One of his biggest haters is ESPN First Take's Skip "1.4 PPG in High School" Bayless. Every change Skip gets to shun LeBron he won't hesitate. Why does Skip criticize LeBron so much? He just might be jealous he rode the bench his whole career as a Basketball player. He has given Bron some crazy nicknames over the past few years like "Queen James" and "The Frozen One". He adds fuel to the passionate fire that LeBron haters love to argue with. My advice, don't hate the man because he keeps putting your favorite team out in the playoffs.
Personally do you like LeBron?
Do you think Skip is right to criticize him?
Do you think LeBron is overrated?

Recent Trump Rallys
There has been so much controversy going on recently behind presidential candidate Donald Trump's rallies. On March 9, 2016 in Fayetteville, North Carolina violence erupted between supporters and protesters at the Republican rally. As seen on video, a white male sucker-punched a black male protester. Clearly, officers weren't close enough to stop the actions. But, instead police proceeded to throw the black male onto the ground. When has violence ever erupted like this at a presidential rally? John McGraw at the astonishing age of 78 was charged with assault and disorderly conduct. Allegedly, Trump even offered to pay the legal fees of the attacker.
Do you think these rallies will affect Trumps outcome in the run for presidency? How do you feel about recent acts of violence involving Trump's rallies? Do you think if Trump becomes president it will cause even more racial tension throughout America?
