I'm sure many of you have seen the video of Birdman on the Breakfast Club or at least heard about it. It was pretty amusing to me but I also didn't know what to think of it after I saw it other than "what is he mad about?" If you haven't seen the actual video, here's a link to it. Feel free to share your reactions and thoughts about this situation.
"Put Some Respek on my Name! Y'all finished or Y'all done?" Like you said, this video was pretty amusing. Although I'm pretty sure it's a result of Rick Ross and Trick Daddy commenting on Birdman's ability as a manager. Thus being said, instead of "disrespeking" the interviewers on the breakfast club, he should've said something to Ross or Trick Daddy.
ReplyDeleteIn my personal opinion, I believe that this is an example of Birman's guilt eating away at him for the way that he is currently holding Lil Wayne's album.
I have definitely been confused about the interview Birdman had, but I found it hilarious and trendy to say "put some respeck on my name!" Everyone loves to say it now, whether you know where it came from or not.
ReplyDeleteI laugh about this interview everyday since it's happened because Birdman is know as a "gangsta" but literally sounded like he was about to come to tears in the interview. To top it all off, he gave The Breakfast Club the shortest interview of all time, lasting only about two minutes and some change. The video was amusing none the least and left us with a number of phrases we can use for future arguments.
