Baby Fever!?

Trust me I am not trying to have kids at all right now but baby fever can be so real at times. I love kids and of course I would like to have them later on. It’s just something about seeing and interacting with a newborn baby that gives me baby fever! My friends have even told me that they have caught baby fever before. Maybe we are all just weird and probably should not be catching baby fever. Babies are just so cute and cuddly! I have a niece and a nephew and maybe that why I also catch baby fever sometimes.
How could you not feel some type of emotion from looking at this cutie right here!?

I thought that baby fever was just an emotion that women get but apparently men get it too. I think the cuteness of a baby is what overwhelms us and causes us to get this “baby fever”. Is there a certain age for baby fever? Are we too young to get baby fever? Ladies, have you all ever caught baby fever? Men, have you? I have just always wondered are any other college students catching baby fever at times like I do. I am sure that anyone who has a Pinterest could testify to catching baby fever sometime too.

Baby fever is just an emotion that comes and goes throughout the year. Reminders like these pictures above are also a good reason to just tell ourselves that a baby is not what we really want right now.

Does anyone else get baby fever sometimes?

What do you all think about baby fever?

  1. I have extreme baby fever. I would love to have a son right now. However, I know that it isn't in my best interest to do so considering that I want to go to medical school in California. Plus I don't have a job that pays enough to support a baby. I still think about wanting a son a lot. I even thought of my future children names!

    1. I have gone through baby names as well lol. I want all girls but i think that might be changing because of my nephew. He has made me want a son too.

  2. I agree, seeing cute babies does just make you want one. But, you have to come to reality and realize kids are meant to have when you are no longer a kid. Lol. They are adorable though.

  3. I agree. I love babies, and for younger siblings, God I wish they were still infants.

  4. I have baby fever like crazy. I worked with kids after school in high school that weren't babies and I was absolutely in love! There's nothing more adorable than their innocence and willingness to explore without a care in the world.

  5. I get baby fever. The thought of having a creation of your own to teach and take care of sounds interesting, but loving! Seeing the cute pictures of babies all over social media doesn't help very much either. I don't think there is anything wrong with baby fever, but as long as teens aren't out here putting their words into action. Especially if someone is too young, that should not be something that someone is thinking about. They might get the wrong picture.

  6. i thought that baby fever was a girl thing as well until i overheard my boyfriend and his friends talking one day. we were on facetime and they were all agreeing that they couldnt wait to have their boys and they wouldnt be opposed to having them now. of course they only say that cause they want to be young enoough to train with their kid, but there's way more to it then that. I know a few people around my age group that have already had kids and are very happy, i just know that for me and my boyfriend that would not be a good situation right now. yes babies are very adorable, but its all fun and games until you pick one up from a nap and they have green poo all down their back and stomach. eeeww!
